About Us
Heritage brands don’t need marketing for the sake of marketing—they need strategies that actually work.
With decades of experience, we’ve seen what works and what doesn’t, and we’re here to make sure your brand endures for years to come.
We’re stewards of your brand’s legacy.
Unlike traditional marketing agencies, One for the Books offers a high-touch, long-term partnership exclusively tailored for heritage brands. We bring the insight and commitment of an in-house marketing leader, coupled with deep expertise in legacy preservation, brand storytelling, and market research.
Catherine Campbell, founder
I’m a marketing expert with an 18-year career of leading marketing strategies for exceptional, sustainable brands in food, home, hospitality and arts & culture.
OFTB is my second agency. Prior to OFTB, I owned Campbell Public Relations, a boutique marketing and comms agency, for six years. I also worked in-house as marketing director for brands such as East Fork and Wildsam.
The name, One For the Books, is not only my goal for each brand I work with, but also a nod to my nontraditional background. Instead of getting an MBA, I spent six years studying writing, philosophy and reader response theory (basically, how someone engages with what they’re experiencing). I then went on to study consumer psychology and human behavior. This heavily influences my work with brands, and I develop campaigns from a unique storytelling framework. In a world where companies are racing to the bottom to win an ad click or a simple transaction, I ask, How can we develop a brand world that attracts long-term loyal fans?
